Fischers Fritz in Kiel

We ordered food over the phone and then picked it up, it worked out perfectly. You have to rush home to make sure nothing gets cold, but the food was great as always, especially the fish. The desserts are great too.

I like the hearty atmosphere and I am there a few days in the year, because the Food are fresh ! And the Service very good. We were served very warmly even if we came 1h before opening. Excellent soup, perfect service. Worth coming again ;-) But as soon as we passed that point it was great. Overall I would recommend and return.

Very nice service. An interesting menu that "makes your mouth water" just by reading it. Mainly regional products. The preparation and arrangement of the dishes exceeded my expectations. I had octopus carpaccio with apple-lemon oil and salad and ox cheeks as my main course. Must try.

1.5 hours to the main course, portion to wean off, which does not even correspond to the description .. dissatisfied vegan even on the 2nd attempt. Too bad. /// Supplement to the feedback: Of course, the waitress was informed of the points of criticism, answer: "I'll pass this on to the kitchen."

During dinner a few days ago and everything was excellent. There is nothing to complain about. It was just a very nice evening with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The service staff was attentive, friendly, professional. Don't forget to give praise to the kitchen!

Attractive map, nice places outside. Everything we ordered tasted great, even if it wasn't nearly as fancy as the pictures here on Google. Value for money was absolutely fine. Would come back again when we are in Kiel again.

Nice ambience. Restaurant is located within the hotel in a quiet area. Service is great. The waiter and waitress came to check on us several times. They are very friendly and can speak good English.

Very good cuisine. The fish dishes are very generously portioned and deliciously prepared. The prices are fully justified.

Good service. Not a restaurant level food, though. Starter. Variation of starters out of the sea: OK to try. Soups. Kiel Sprat soup: worth attention definitely, if you like sprats. I did. Pumpkin soup: very sad and taste is far from clear. Anyone can make it, even a child. Fishers Fritz fish soup: totally sad. Tastes like a mistake made by girls at school. Nothing - water with something in plate. Honestly. Meals: Lamb shoulder: worth trying. LOTS of fat butter baked potatoes on side. 2000 kcal probably at least. Is it a McDonald's? Juicy herb risotto: just an ordinary risotto, like you might get in any cafe. But ok. Young herring from Eckernfoerde: it could be called a McHerring. More sauce than herring (not more, but unbelievably too much), and three huge pieces of nice young red tasty herring plus some dry salad. Not suitable for place called restaurant, though. To be honest, with time I start realizing that Germany does many good things, but not restaurant food. Anyway, one of nice places to try, if to compare with others around.

Incredibly delicious! I had feared to find nothing really great in Kiel, but the food here was really absolutely perfect. Light kitchen which just loved it and the service was great. I would give more stars if I could. thanks <3

Delicious food, a small selection, which in turn with the drinks found. Fair prices. Unfortunately, a corner for toddlers to play, which would contribute to relaxation is missing. Parking is limited.

A very well run house with an absolutely beautiful ambience, very friendly, courteous service, balanced menu, despite the restaurant name and excellent fish dishes, it is a balanced menu with dishes for all tastes, it is not a pure fish restaurant! But with me classic fish: favorite aperitif Aperol Spritz, fish soup and Pannfisch - a very enjoyable evening!

The Fischers Fritz is one of the first addresses in Kiel when it comes to fish. It is very cozy there and food and service are fantastic. It feels like a guest from the first moment. It should also be mentioned that the menu also provides an interesting offer for non-fish eaters. If there is anything to improve, that would be the parking signage.
